Martine Hoogendoorn is an honorary member of the Association International des Jeunes Avocats (AIJA), she was President of the Labour Law Commission and member of various management commissions. Martine is an active member of Legalmondo, a global platform of international oriented lawyers with experience and expertise in various areas of law (Legalmondo.com). She is an active member of the American Bar Association, Section of International law (ABA-SIL), in the International Employment Committee.

Experience

Martine Hoogendoorn has been a lawyer since 1999. Before co-founding Doorn & Keizer, she previously worked at Barents Krans and VMW Taxand. Martine advises and litigates on behalf of national and international companies with respect to (proposed) Dutch operations and employment and labour law issues.

Martine is extremely dedicated to the client. This combined with her powers of observation, persistence, and precise legal knowledge of (international) employment and labour law ensures that she reaches the right solutions for her clients, who always come back to her. She also regularly gives – both in English and in Dutch – presentations, in-house training and speaks at seminars.

Martine writes regularly on relevant labour and employment topics. She is a member of the Dutch bar, an honorary member of the International Association of Young Lawyers (AIJA), an active member of Legalmondo and of the American Bar Association.

Martine also regularly gives presentations, in-house training and speaks at seminars. Martine blogs regularly on relevant labour and employment topics and provides various annual or bi-annual contributions to labour law guides.

Registration

Martine Hoogendoorn has registered in the Netherlands Bar’s register of legal practice areas (rechtsgebiedenregister) employment law as her principal legal practice area.

Based on this registration, she is required to obtain at least ten training credits out of the total credits per calendar year in her registered principal legal practice area in accordance with the standards set by the Netherlands Bar.
