Hajar Marcouch supports the attorneys with substantive legal work, such as conducting case law research and drafting draft opinions, employment and settlement agreements, among other things.

Experience

Hajar Marcouch graduated from the VU University of Amsterdam in 2018, specialising in Dutch employment and labour law. During her studies, she was a member of the Student Council and held several jobs in the corporate world.

Before Hajar joined Doorn & Keizer in 2021, she interned and later worked as a paralegal in the employment department at CMS, and as a legal advisor at Achmea, a large (legal) insurance company. Her work experience extends to representing both employers and employees in matters such as dismissal and restructuring, sickness and reintegration, employment agreements and employee handbooks, and flexible workers. Her fighting spirit enabled her to achieve her goal of becoming a lawyer and member of the Dutch Bar, which she now puts to work for her clients.

Hajar is open-minded, has good listening skills and a keen eye for legal content and relationships. With her perseverance, she will always go the extra mile to help her clients achieve their desired goals. Next to being fluent in English and Dutch, she is fluent in (Moroccan) Arabic.
